Slip into the Standard Issue Biosuit as Myo Hyori, a gifted Korean teenage girl who must face the perils of the future. Survive many hazards, explore a seemingly endless metropolis and beyond as the world around you implodes and history marches towards its inevitable conclusion. This is a cyberpunk inspired first person shooter with light environmental puzzles and a long, detailed singleplayer campaign focused on story and world building. G-String aims for an old school approach where there is minimal hand holding and your biosuit automatically keeps track of your health stats, ammunition count and armor condition. You need supplies to heal yourself, replenish your ammo/armor but your suit automatically takes care of your lights, sprinting and breathing (open air and underwater). Your on-board neuro-enhancers, air filters and light sources automatically recharge using movement and/or sunlight. Courtesy of Bortz Bioengineering your biosuit is very resilient but you do have to be careful: prolonged exposure to toxins will lead to fatal failure! You need to watch out for all sorts of environmental hazards, especially later on when the pace picks up considerably.Your telekinetic/pyrokinetic abilities will be available from the start and throughout most of the game, they should be enough to make progress until there are more means of input available. Worthy to note that initially your night-vision will be disabled as your biosuit was damaged presumably in earlier lab experiments.FEATURESLEARN about the troubled future of a space faring, shattered mankind.ESCAPE the ruthless, uncompromising powers governing Earth.SURVIVE acid rain, storms, a crumbling infrastructure and the omnipresent smog.EXPLORE many highly detailed maps with multiple routes and hidden secrets.PICK your fights; the more violent you are the more enemies you'll encounter. SOLVE environmental puzzles of varying complexity.REACH for the stars and beyond in your quest for answers.ADDITIONAL NOTESAs long time fans know G-String took well over a decade to complete because it was a solo project for the most part; all assets and the lore had to be developed from scratch. My sincere hope is that this does not impact the game's quality, scope and scale negatively. From the slums of Greater Chinatown to Low Orbit Earth and Beyond your adventure will take you through several distinct locations. No important story elements were cut and the game was not divided into episodes- yet another reason why development took long. The finished product is not perfect nor will it ever be perfect however it has reached a stage when it's hopefully good enough for release considering the time and resources available to me at the moment. The goal with the initial release is just to put out a game that can be played form start to finish with no issues. There are no achievements and translations available yet. Those will probably be included in later updates if there is interest in the title. Of course if I had missed anything and there are any urgent problems they will be fixed in an early update as quickly as possible. The game's retro glitch art infused aesthetic draws heavily upon science fiction films released between the late 70s and early to mid 90s. Exceptions to this rule might include 1969's Space Odyssey or The Matrix. The world's design is very low key and as realistic as possible, everything was put together with feasibility and mass production in mind. The HUD and hints are also kept to a minimum. When work started on this project I was going through difficult times and G-String reflected this by touching on some troubling issues. Over the years even elements of horror and surrealism have found their way into the mix. Everything changes though and this work should not be viewed as mouth piece for anyone's views or beliefs. Everyone is encouraged to make up their own minds about the concepts they are presented with. The game is 10 to 15 hours long, combat is spaced out and can be harsh. Sometimes fights with humans can be avoided and multiple paths are available. There are a few cut-scenes in G-String but they are brief and depict things that would otherwise be impossible to show from the player's point of view. The different post-processing FX settings such as "Film Noir", "70mm" or "Sin City" can give the game a radically different feel so try to experiment to see what fits your gameplay style the most. Thank you for your interest and if you play it I hope you'll like how it all turned out!

  • Gaia

    Gaia

    for PC
You're a treasure hunter on a quest for finding Gaia, a planet said to be the home of the Ancients. It is said to host incredible ancient technology, one which can bend time itself. However, as your ship approached this particular planet, something went bad with its engine, which caused a chain reaction of explosions from which only you survived when you crashed on the planet. From this point, you will decide how the story continues and ends.A more detailed look at the mechanics of the game:° Three different AI storytellers: Cora Core, Tranquillio Pax and RNGesus Silvius. Each storyteller provides a different type of game play experience, from a nice curve of rising difficulty, to a chill sandbox experience, to something not even RNGesus can predict.° Harvest several types of minerals, alien flora and underwater resources.° Build modular buildings such as assemblers, floors, walls, energy producing buildings and more to construct a base.° Craft items, vehicles, blueprints and ammo.° Manage your needs, such as hunger, thirst, rest and leisure.° Survive raids made of space pirates or wildlife.° Notable Events: - Raids: Air or ground, by the local wildlife or space mercs. These space mercs can come in spaceships to rain down fire on your base, or drop down directly on the planet and get personal. - Nox event: Poisonous meteorite explodes in the atmosphere, enveloping the atmosphere in poison and slowly killing everything that breathes. - Solar flare: Causes fire tornadoes, spreading fire that can damage almost anything, including animals who in turn spread the fire themselves if they catch it. - Meteor shower: Mostly visual, but also provides a nice boost to your well being while it's active. - Trade ships: Trade with the different factions.° Day and night cycle with amazing weather and seasons. This is not just a visual only thing; it does affect gameplay. A rainy weather will put out fire while at night your solar panels won't work. Wind influences the efficiency of your turbines. In winter, your crops will die if the temperature drops too low.° Grow your own food.° Manage your electrical system to make sure all buildings have enough energy to work.° Gaia contains intelligent AI, such as coward AI (for example, deer) that runs away from you if you come too close, passive AI like most other wildlife, aggressive AI like most monsters and all space pirates, or territorial AI like wolves and sand scorpions.Gaia is designed to invoke feelings of adventure, survival and triumph. Inspired from games such as Rimworld, tower defense games, RPG games and even Paradox games, Gaia has a bit of everything. From the sandbox experience of Minecraft, the wave survival of tower defense games, to the beautiful graphics of RPGs like Skyrim and Subnautica, the game will provide a unique gameplay experience. You have your own needs that affect gameplay, such as hunger and thirst. Make sure you eat prepared food, drink water, rest from time to time, relax by watching the sunset, go to the bathroom when needed and wash your hands. Failure to do so will cause problems, such as decreasing your max health, running speed or mental health, which itself can cause some pretty serious issues.Choose from 4 different biomes every time you want to start a new game. Your starting location affects your playing experience, as you may start off on a beach near the ocean or somewhere inland in a dense or sparse forest. Each map comes with its own challenges and advantages and it's up to you to adapt to the situation.Gaia has a complex weather system, containing a day night cycle and a date system, wind, rain and temperature. These factors affect you as well as how some of your buildings work, like turbines. Make sure you take into account all of this when deciding what to build or what to do at any given time during the day. You might also want to prepare for winter time while it’s still warm outside.Grow your own food and cook complex recipes, some which may require alien flora or alien meat. Every vegetable you grow has its own advantages or disadvantages, such as nutrition, time of growth and amount of harvest. Choose between corn, chili, carrots, onions, cabbage or even leeks.Explore the depths of the ocean. You will need to build a submersible to reach deeper levels if you want to find diamonds and gold. Watch out for the biomechanical whale and other mysteries you might discover deep underwater.
  • Gaia 2: Ancient Mysteries

    Gaia 2: Ancient Mysteries

    for PC
After having escaped from the extremely inhospitable planet you crashed on last time, you decided to keep searching for Gaia, the home of the Ancients, on your own. It will be difficult without a crew, but having found artefacts of Ancient tech on your previous adventure, you’re thinking you have to be close. Your ship’s sensors have found an uncharted planet relatively close nearby. This planet is giving off similar signals as the one you found the Ancient tech on. You decide to make a landing near the location of these readings. Your story begins here.Gaia 2: Ancient Mysteries features some of the mechanics from the first game:° Three different AI storytellers: Cora Core, Tranquillio Pax and RNGesus Silvius. Each storyteller provides a different type of game play experience, from a nice curve of rising difficulty, to a chill sandbox experience, to something not even RNGesus can predict.° Harvest several types of minerals, alien flora and underwater resources.° Build a base made of modular components, such as corridors and rooms, and decorate the inside with additional objects.° Craft items, vehicles and ammo.° Take care of your hunger and thirst.° Survive raids made of space pirates or alien creatures.° Notable Events:‎- Raids: Air or ground, by the local wildlife or space mercs. These space mercs can come ‎‎‎‎in spaceships to rain down fire on your base, or drop down directly ‏‏‎ ‎on the planet and get ‎personal.‎- Nox event: Poisonous meteorite explodes in the atmosphere, enveloping the ‎‎atmosphere in poison and slowly killing everything that breathes.‎- Solar flare: Can mess up many of your electrical structures, such as solar panels or ‎turrets. This may also spawn solar storms, which will start small, localized fires wherever lightning hits.- Meteor shower: Mostly visual, but also provides a nice boost to your well being while ‎‎it's active.‎- Trade ships: Trade with the different factions.° Day and night cycle with amazing weather. This is not just a visual only thing; it does affect gameplay. A rainy weather or night time will prevent your solar panels from working. Wind influences the efficiency of your turbines.° Grow your own food.° Manage your electrical system to make sure all buildings have enough energy to work.° Gaia contains intelligent AI, such as coward AI that runs away from you if you come too close, passive AI that will only attack you if you attack them, aggressive AI like most monsters and all space pirates, or territorial AI.Discover the fate of the Ancients. Gaia 2: Ancient Mysteries has a detailed storyline. Inspired from games such as Subnautica, Skyrim and Rimworld, Gaia 2 has a bit of everything. The game will provide a unique gameplay experience that combines elements from many other genres too, such as open world games like Minecraft, or grand strategy games like Paradox games.Take care of your needs. In addition to hunger and thirst, you also have to factor in your oxygen and radiation levels. Certain needs affect you in different ways, such as decreasing your max health or your running speed. Some, such as radiation, are even more critical and deadly. You can craft certain substances that mitigate radiation but make you more susceptible to it, or you can try and ride it out.The time of day and weather affect your gameplay. Not only do they affect you directly, but they also affect your structures and their effectiveness. Your PDA contains information about solar and wind activity, so plan accordingly when building your base. If it pours while it’s dark outside, try not to venture too far from your base or you might get lost in the darkness.Grow your own food and cook complex recipes, some which may require alien flora or alien meat. Every vegetable you grow has its own advantages or disadvantages, such as nutrition, time of growth and amount of harvest. Choose between corn, chili, carrots, onions, cabbage or even leeks. These will prove especially tasty in the completely alien environment you find yourself in, which lacks a diversified source of food.Explore the depths of the lake. Although the surrounding ocean is completely void of life, the lake contains many useful resources and different types of fish. You will need a submersible to reach some of them however.Mine gold and diamonds throughout multiple cave systems. These caves can be found both inside mountains and deep underground. Some of them are richer in minerals than others, but some may be… unwelcoming. Make sure you bring enough protection and don’t venture too deep.

First against themselves – until technology started to rise, created to serve their innate greed for dominance. During Earth times, self-inflicted catastrophes kept humanity struggling and finally forced the big departure. And yet, here they are. Split up all over the solar system, living separate realities under various conditions.Everything is different – and actually nothing ever really changed. A new mindset of unity, awoken by the end of the Machine War, is facing hard times. Beneath the curtain of false peace and hope, bad blood had always remained. Old and new enemies are rising again and humanity will have to face its greatest trial, yet. Will you be part of mankind's downfall or guide the system into a brighter future? It's in your hands. And then there's usWe love gaming and we always wanted to realize our own vision of a good game. Back in 2011, this project was started with the motivation to unify the "good old" mechanics that had been around for decades and give them a nice polish with today's visual and technical standards. It was influenced by games like Fallout 1 + 2, Diablo, Grand Theft Auto, Baldur's Gate, Icewind Dale, Escape Velocity, Deus Ex & Co. Creating a game only half as good as those titles is a real challenge, but we will make the best effort to create something you'd enjoy!
