As a part of the PlayStation State of Play Stream, Konami announced that a new entry in the Sillent Hill series, Silent Hill: The Short Message is available on the PS5 for free.

The game sees us stepping into the shoes of Anita, who ends up in an eerie apartment block after getting messages from her friend, Maya. The trailer hints at themes like bullying and suicide, a classic Silent Hill touch.

Presented entirely from a first-person viewpoint and devoid of combat, it gives off a walking sim vibe. Despite that, it is certainly worth checking out since Konami generously made the game available for free, so you've got nothing to lose but your time.
