After selling millions of copies of the Phantom Liberty DLC,we can safely say that Cyberpunk 2077 is on the roll. But it seems like we’re only getting started as CD Projekt Red announced that they are already focusing on the sequel and the game’s narrative director is eager to get started.
In a recent tweet by CDPR's Igor Sarzyński, it was revealed that Cyberpunk 2077 was “just a warm up”, and the studio is gearing up to “officially kick-start our Orion journey.” Orion is the working title for the upcoming Cyberpunk 2077 sequel.
The team working on the upcoming project commenced its inaugural day at the recently opened Boston office earlier this week. Sarzyński expressed enthusiasm for the project, with one individual, who amusingly goes by the name Abraham Lincoln on Twitter, inquiring if they've been honing their Boston accent. In response, Sarzyński states, "I'm trying!"
We’re yet to learn more about this upcoming sequel but I am very excited and I hope it will at least be just as good as the original.
