The moment has finally arrived – We finally have Capcom’s highly-anticipated remake Resident Evil 4 in front of us! And that’s not all! The publisher also announced a launch date for the popular co-op mode The Mercenaries. A free update will launch on all platforms, on Friday, April 7.
Mercenaries is a multiplayer mode that first made its debut on the original GameCube version of Resident Evil, back in 2005. The mode sees players fighting against hordes of enemies with a very strict time limit. The mode features several characters from the respective Resident Evil title, including side characters and other NPCs. The same mode has also appeared in sequels like Resident Evil 5, Resident Evil 6, and most recently, Resident Evil 6.
Resident Evil 4 is available now on PlayStation, Xbox Series X, and PC.
