First and foremost – happy MAR10 Day everyone! There is no better way to mark this special occasion than getting one last trailer for The Super Mario Bros. movie, and Illumination gave us just that. They truly delivered this time as well, and even though the movie is coming to the theatres in a little under a month from now, I literally can’t wait!
The trailer sees our beloved Luigi being imprisoned within Bowser’s castle (we also have an amazing remix of the area’s classic theme playing in the background). Our favorite Italian plumber teams up with Toad and Princess Peach to save his brother. He has to beat the nefarious Koopa army to do that and eventually restore peace to the Mushroom Kingdom. The footage ends with a battle sequence on the Rainbow Road where Mario shows off all of his karting expertise.
