Until this point, The Division 2 was available on PC via the Ubisoft Store and the Epic Games Store due to exclusivity contracts but now you can enjoy the beloved sequel to Tom Clancy’s online action role-playing game on Steam as well. So if you don’t want to go through the Ubisoft or Epic stores for whatever reason, now you can have a blast in the game via your favorite platform.

There are some caveats that we have to mention, though. First off, the game has no Steam achievements included, which is deal-breaking if you’re one of the people hunting achievements. On top of that, if you launch the game via the Steam storefront, you’ll still have to deal with the Ubisoft Connect launcher, which is potentially yet another deal-breaker, and it’s certainly annoying.

The Division 2 received mixed receptions on Steam as many people have encountered different bugs and technical problems that prevented them from enjoying the game. Nonetheless, we can keep our fingers crossed and hope that Ubisoft will resolve these problems as they continue to port more of their games to PC. Because these games are well worth the effort.
