Back when Mario Party 64 launched on the Nintendo 64, people would rotate their palms on their controllers in order to play the minigames, which led to a lot of injuries (and even the official glove release from Nintendo). This time, however, for the Mario Party 64 Switch re-releases (both Mario Party 1 and 2), we have a warning placed upfront.

Here’s the warning that players will see when they boot up the game for the first time:

CAUTION: To avoid irritation to your skin and/or damage to the control stick, do not rotate it with the palm of your hand. Rotate the control stick with your thumb or by holding it between your thumb and forefinger.”

So yeah, watch your palms and keep playing Mario Party!
