Endnight Games have announced that their mutant survival horror adventure Sons of the Forest will be getting yet another delay and the release date has now been pushed back to February 2023.
After being initially scheduled for a late 2021 release, the game was pushed back into May 2022 and then October 2022, before finally being delayed until February 2023. The studio said this is the last delay and the game is now coming out on February 23, 2023. The price will be $30.
Endnight have previously said they hope this would be the “next step in survival games.”
Here’s the latest summary: “Sent to find a missing billionaire on a remote island, you find yourself in a cannibal-infested hellscape. Craft, build, and struggle to survive, alone or with friends, in this terrifying new open-world survival horror simulator.”
Sons of the Forest is coming out on February 23, 2023 on PC.
