Apex Legends’ Season 14 update is almost here, and sure enough, the patch notes are up and you can see them here.
According to Michael Shannon, Senior Level Designer on Apex Legends, the development team has “heard a lot of feedback from the community about Kings Canyon, and this update is dedicated to addressing that feedback directly”.
We’re getting a new POI called Relic, which promises more space for players. Furthermore, the update adds a new area with a huge skull as a primary focus. This area replaces Thunderdome and Skull Town, and it promises a lot of fast-paced, frantic action. The Cage has also been modified because, as Shannon says, “its defensibility was too high for a POI positioned directly in a high traffic junction”.
The biggest change, however, comes in the form of a level cap increase. The player cap is now increased to Level 500 Tier 3, which means you can now get an heirloom just by playing the game.
