The news was announced on the PlayStation Blog and it came directly from the game’s creator Jay Weston. The game was initially released last year on Xbox & PC, and this iteration will add some extras to make the PlayStation debut even more stylish. Some of these additions include haptic feedback on the console’s DualSense controller and full support for 120 FPS framerates.
In case you’re not familiar with the concept, Exo One is a meditative game and it has no enemies or timer. The exploration of alien landscapes in a spacecraft is the main focus here, and oh boy, it’s quite a journey.
Along the way, you’ll be launching yourself off mountains as you pilot this powerful spacecraft. You’ll also get to ride thermal drafts and hurtle down hillsides as you’re trying to reach a shining blue beacon on the horizon, fighting against the wind resistance as you go. Different terrains will offer different challenges for you to conquer and the vibrations will change depending on speed and the surfaces you ride across.
