The plot of the game sees an AI that powers the internet being attacked by a bunch of nasty viruses and now it’s up to you and your friends to clean up the internet and eradicate this new threat in a direct showdown. To succeed in your mission, will have to cooperate with your team across six worlds themed around the internet to stop the virus before they take over every AI in the world.
Along the way, you’ll be fighting a whole range of enemies, but luckily, you’ll have plenty of weapons and power-ups to rely on. These include a freeze gun that lets you hold your enemies in place and magnetic abilities that you can use to attract and repel enemies and even items as well. As a team, you can vote on items that you can use to power up the whole team. Lastly, you can also combine vehicles to form a giant robot that will make your life so much easier.
The game supports online play, and split-screen If no friends are interested to play the game with you, however, you can also progress through the story with the help of AI bots.
Glitch Busters: Stuck on You is currently scheduled to release this winter 2022 on PS4, Nintendo Switch, and PC. You’ll also be able to play it on PS5 via backward compatibility. You can watch the trailer below:
