Dear Villagers have announced that their roguelite platforming shooter Revita is coming to Nintendo Switch and PC this April.

The game has already been in early access on PC for about a year, but now it’s ready for full launch on Nintendo Switch. You’re playing as a child who’s lost their memories and is now climbing an ominous clocktower to retrieve them. Along the way, you’ll have to blast through a bunch of procedurally generated encounter rooms and challenging bosses as you aim to reach the very top of the tower.

The game promises “fast-paced glass cannon gameplay”, so you’ll have to be on your toes all the time. Along with twin-stick shooting, you’ll also be able to acquire all kinds of different abilities including (but not limited to) wall-sliding and dashing. On top of that, you can tweak the game to suit your playstyle. These modifications include highlighting enemies in certain colors to make them easier to spot, slowing down time, and much more.

The game will have a whole range of different weapons, including shotguns, machine guns, laser guns, charge guns, and more. And if that’s not enough, you can expect plenty of hats in case you like cosmetics.

Revita is coming to Nintendo Switch and PC on April 21. You can check out the trailer below:
