Kao the Kangaroo is coming back in a brand new 3D platform coming out this summer

Tate Multimedia have announced that a brand new Kao the Kangaroo is coming to PC and consoles this year.

The first game debuted on the Sega Dreamcast back in the year 2000. As yet another animal platformer, it was successful enough to get a sequel on PS2, GameCube, and Xbox a few years later. A remake was also released in 2005 on PSP and it was titled Kao Challengers. Later that year, we also saw the release of PC exclusive Kao: Mystery of the Volcano, and we haven’t seen much from the cute kangaroo since.

The upcoming game that is currently titled Kao the Kangaroo will see our hero using his magical boxing gloves once more and traveling a bunch of diverse worlds full of secrets (that is what the devs promise us). We’re also promised an engaging story, family-friendly gameplay, challenging combat, unique boss battles too, and a whole bunch of collectibles as well.

Kao the Kangaroo is coming out this summer on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Check out the trailer below:
