Dinga Bakaba who’s worked on several huge Arkane Lyon’s titles has now been appointed as the new head of the studio. As VGC reports, he is taking the role of the studio director at Arkane Lyon following the departure of its former head Romuald Capron, who left the company in October.
According to VGC, Bakaba will also retain his position as co-creative director at the Lyon studio, alongside Deathloop co-director Sebastien Mitton. Bakaba will fill the seat of former head
Capron announced that he is working on a free educational game titled PowerZ, and spoke to Rock Paper Shotgun about his new project.
Here’s what he had to say: “One of the pillars of the project is to co-create the game with children, so they can tell us their ideas and we can try and implement them. We are also trying to show the children how we make the game, they’re part of the process.”
Dinga Bakaba, has been with Arkane Lyon for more than 10 years and he had a major role in the development of both Dishonored and its sequel, as well as Wolfenstein: Youngblood, where he was the game director.
