Devolver Digital have announced that their action RPG Weird West is coming to PlayStation, Xbox, and PC on January 11.
WolfEye Studios is in charge of the development of this game. They’re a team led up by the former founder of Arkane Studios, Raphael Colantonio and he is the one narrating a series of videos that will be released in the run-up to launch, the first of which you can watch below.
Weird West introduces a brand new format of storytelling and it focuses on five different stories in the game’s setting. All of the main characters are different, but their journeys will eventually cross over the course of the game. Along the journey, we will have to bring some very difficult decisions and there will be devastating consequences if we mess something up.
The game has plenty of characters that we can interact with, and even more quests to take on and locations to explore. It’s quite a long game as well, you can expect up to 40 hours of raw gameplay with all five stories combined.
Weird West itself is coming out on January 11 on Xbox One, PS4, and PC. You can pre-order your copy via Steam, and if you do so, you will get a free horse named Calamity that doubles your inventory size. So sweet! You can watch the trailer below:
