A short statement was posted on the publisher’s Twitter account and it reads as follows - “Shadow Warrior 3 needs a bit more time to sharpen its blades so developer Flying Wild Hog and Devolver Digital are sliding it into early next year”.
Shadow Warrior 3 was announced back in July last year. It sees Lo Wang returning teaming up with Orochi Zilla to recapture an ancient dragon that they accidentally unleashed from its eternal prison.
We will be seeing plenty of dynamic combat arenas, tons of firepower, and the traditional over-the-top swordplay. Along the way, you will have to master Wang’s wealth of traversal skills, including, double jumps, wall running, air dashes, and the new grappling hook mechanic.
Devolver says that we should expect more news on the game in the following months. As it stands now, Shadow Warrior 3 is coming to Xbox One, PS4 and PC in early 2022. The exact release date will be announced soon.
