Nicalis have announced that the long-anticipated final expansion for The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth, Repentance is coming to PC on March 31, while the console versions will make their debut at a later point.

We were waiting quite a while but the studio assures us that the final product will be worth it. As they said, this expansion will be "bigger than a sequel" and it will introduce a new story, new chapters, new challenges, and achievements, as well as some new playable characters and more than 100 new items and enemies. That's a lot of content! We're also getting 25 new boss battles and all of this will give us 500 hours of additional gameplay. That's what folks from Nicalis say.

All of this sounds quite promising, and we have every reason to believe that Repentance will be a proper conclusion to the story of The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth. Can't wait to get my hands on it!
