We knew that Sephiroth is coming to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, we just didn't know when. Well, now we have the date - December 22, 2020.
The good news is, though, you can unlock him as early as today. All you need is to conquer the Sephiroth Challenge. You'll need Challenger Pack 8 or Fighters Pass Vol.2 to access that. Once you beat him in a one-on-one duel, he's all yours to keep!
Time to load my Switch again.
