The Opening Night Live presentation of this year's (all-digital) Gamescom was quite eventful and one of the biggest highlights came from Proletariat. These folks shared a trailer for their free-to-play magic melee title Spellbreak, which is set to arrive on September 3 on PS4, PC, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. Needless to say, the trailer is amazing.
It features a cast of mysterious magic weavers who are battling each other with a whole range of different mystic attacks. Instead of guns, grenades, and explosives, we have an ethereal arsenal of hexes, curses, and spells. A fair trade-off!
You can choose a number of different class-based characters, like the electrifying Conduit, the ice-wielding Frostborn, or perhaps fiery Pyromancer, before initiating an epic battle against other wizards, witches, and warlocks in a selection of different game modes and a fantasy universe called the Hollow Lands.
