The waiting is finally over as Devolver Digital's The Messenger is finally coming to Xbox One this week. @h0x0d spotted a Microsoft Store listing and it says that the platform adventure will launch June 25.
Originally released on Nintendo Switch and PC back in 2018, The Messenger is a delightful throwback to the 8-bit era of gaming. The story itself is innovative, intriguing, and full of various plot twists and we can describe it as an intriguing, time-warping story of honor and duty. The combination of challenging old-school gameplay and a groundbreaking story is exactly what makes The Messenger such a gem today.
