Kojima Productions have announced that the PC version of a surreal adventure game, Death Stranding is not coming out on June 2. The reason? Of course, the delay is a result of the going Coronavirus pandemic.

The team issued a brief statement on their official Twitter account: "Following the temporary closure of Kojima Productions, we have had to delay the PC launch of Death Stranding to July 14, 2020. Thank you all for your patience and continued support!"

Just under a month ago, one Kojima Productions employee had tested positive for COVID-19, having been working from home since March 20. There have been no other reports of other employees contracting the disease, but of course, it's always better to be safe than sorry.

Death Stranding is currently available on PS4 and it will launch on PC on July 19.
