Remedy Entertainment have announced that the company has just reclaimed the publishing rights for the horror shooter Alan Wake.


They have confirmed this information via a special announcement. What all this means in practice is that they can publish the first two Alan Wake games (Alan Wake and Alan Wake American's Nightmare) on any platforms other than Xbox if they want to. They can also make a sequel if they want to, but it will probably not happen any time soon.


Now is the right time to revisit the Alan Wake universe or experience it for the first time if you haven't done that already.
