Respawn have just released a new Apex Legends update and they've nerfed two of the game's most powerful weapons - Peacekeeper and Wingman.

Peacekeeper is now slower than it used to be (depending on which shotgun bolt you are using) while Wingman is nowhere near as accurate as before. Its speed has also been decreased. On top of that, you will notice that both weapons will spawn much less frequently now.

On the other hand, you will see energy ammo appearing much more often now and the hitboxes for Gibraltar, Caustic, and Pathfinder will be tweaked as soon as the first season starts.

Here's what Respawn wrote in the patch notes: " Our goal is to make less frequent, better tested, higher impact changes, so it minimizes the effects on your time spent mastering a particular mechanic, weapon, character, etc. You shouldn't have to read our patch notes every few days just to keep up with how characters and weapons now work ... We know y'all are putting a ton of time into the game and mastering every nuance (like Wraith portalling people off cliffs for the final kill lolz)".

Apex Legends has been released in February for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. The game is doing pretty good, it now has a player base of 50 million players as well. So, yeah, let's hope that this positive trend continues.
