Many NES classics are coming to Switch Online lately and the next one in line is Kid Icarus. It may not be the best NES game ever, but if you've grown up with the console, you should be very familiar with the game.
The game was released back in 1986 and it quickly became an all-time classic. After the success of the original game, a sequel was released for the Game Boy. After that, we didn't hear from Pit again until Kid Icarus Uprising was released on 3DS in 2012. In the meantime, he also appeared as a guest for the Super Smash Bros. series.
Another game coming up next week is StarTropics. This Zelda clone is not really as iconic as Kid Icarus but it's pretty good and you should certainly check it out.
