To be honest, I no longer have faith in any video game movies (and I'm sure the same applies to most of you). However, at least theoretically, I do hope that someday a good video game movie will come out after all.

Anyway, you probably know that Sonic the Hedgehog movie is a thing for quite a while now. After Paul Rudd (a well-known actor based on his role in Ant-Man) who will take the lead charge in this project, we now have another name - James Mardsen. As Variety reported, the Westwood and X-Man star has signed the contract and will be ready to join the team in the near future. We don't know which character he is going to play but I guess we can only speculate at this point.

Sonic the Hedgehog movie will come to our theaters in November 2019. As you might expect, the movie will combine some heavy CGI and live action elements. We didn't get to see Sonic on the big screen yet but we hope that the team doesn't blow the whole thing up. Although......given the bad tradition of video game movies in general, it's quite a realistic scenario.

Prove us wrong Jeff Fowler!
