We know that the folks from Platinum Games are already working on the 3rd game in the popular Bayonetta franchise and people who are huge fans of the previous 2 entries can't wait for the third one to be released (it really can't come faster!). But, it appears that this is not the only project they are working on.

In an interview that we can read on DualShockers, Atsushi Inaba (the head of the studio) said that they are already working on a game that could turn the whole action genre upside down. Sounds quite bombastic indeed! At the same, however, it appears that only a handful of people are even aware of this thing going on so I guess this is only an early concept...but it certainly makes me feel very excited!

We don't really know what to expect from this title yet but Mr. Inaba confirmed that some of their future games will have a budget that will suit the titles that can be put between AAA and indie categories. So, maybe we have some clue of what to expect there. This is what he said exactly: "We can't put together a AAA, $10 million-plus game, because we just don't have that sort of cash as an independent developer. However, we don't plan to go the indies route with just a few people on the team making a game".

We will track this new mysterious game for sure but, until we have more info there, it's worth reminding everyone that Bayonetta 3 is well underway when it comes to development and it will be a Switch exclusive only. Bummer!
