Impressive sales records for God of War have been reported by the developers
3.1 million copies sold in the first three days already. Bloody hell!
Nothing too strange here really! The latest PS4 exclusive was a highly anticipated game and we are not surprised to see numbers like these. As it was reported, God of War managed to sell 3.1 million copies worldwide in the first 3 days upon release and it became the fastest-selling PS4 game to date! Isn't that amazing?
If we take a look at the UK, God of War was the second-biggest release of the week only losing to a newly created giant that is Far Cry 5 (and we speak about physical copies here) but it also managed to break the previous record that was held by God of War 3.
This couldn't pass by unnoticed by the developers and here's what the studio head of Santa Monica Studio (Shanon Studstill) had to say about this topic: " I would like to personally thank the millions of fans around the world who decided to embark on Kratos' latest adventure with us.
