To be honest, most people expected Vermintide 2 to be a huge success even before its release but nobody expected a success like this. Or, well, almost no one. Suffice to say, Vermintide 2 managed to sell more than 1 million copies in less than 2 months upon release and it's surely going to be one of the gaming highlights of the year. We can say that already. Prior to this, the game already managed to flog over 500 000 copies in less than one single week.

If you're not familiar with the game yet, we can tell you that this second installment is a true (and) legit follower of the original game. It follows the exact same formula but with many improvements such as the Heroic Deeds System, a grand total of 15 new hero careers and some new surroundings that are just as epic as you expect them to be. At the same time, you will be fighting against hordes of Chaos (literally). Don't expect them to be merciful!

All these records, obviously, didn't pass by unnoticed by Fatshark Games and here's what their CEO had to report: " We are genuinely humbled by the reception of Warhammer: Vermintide 2 from gamers all over the world. We reached half a million units within the first week, and one million within five weeks, which is far quicker than we ever expected". Well, Mr. Wahlund, we certainly didn't expect this kind of success either (as we told you above) but, now while we're at it, I can only say - great job!

Warhammer: Vermintide 2 is available for PC for some time now but the game will be hitting Xbox One and PS4 in the near future as well.
