The developers from NiS America have revealed the release date for their upcoming jRPG, The Lost Child. The game will be coming to Switch, PS4 and PS Vita on June 19 (in the US) and June 22 (in Europe) respectively.

Not much is known at this point (although I certainly recommend keeping an eye on the official page) but, we do know the details when it comes to the main plot. You will take control of a journalist by the name of Hayato Ibuki. Mr. Ibuki is trying to find a clue for a bunch of mysterious homicides that are taking place all over Tokyo. Along this road, he will meet a mysterious girl that has some kind of a device that allows you to trap all sorts of monstrosities.

Not too long after this event, our hero will end up being sucked into a world filled with demonic beasts and mysterious celestial creations. He will have to explore various different dungeons called "Lawyers" while attempting to figure out what is actually going on and how to get out of that nasty place. At the same time, he tries to figure out what really lies behind this mysterious device.

So, as you can see, things are not really simple for our protagonist. We shall see if the gameplay manages to deliver but, our fingers are surely crossed! Take a look at this little teaser while you're here as well..
