Heavy Rain movie deal almost done

Deadline New York are reporting that Unique Features are close to securing a deal to make a movie based on Quantic Dreams' Heavy Rain.

Using their own money, founders of Unique Features, Bob Shaye and Michael Lynne posted the top bid in an auction held by CAA on behalf of game developers Quantic Dream.

There is no official word that the film is going to be made or how it will translate from the game, which allows varying outcomes based on the players actions, to a single story film.
