The Official Dragon Empires website has been updated today with a new Dev Diary from Daniel Yelland, one of DE's programmers:

    A large aim we have had when developing the combat and abilities system for Dragon Empires has been to provide the player with more feedback than existing MMORPGs. Unfortunately there are a number of large issues with combat and abilities in MMORPGs due to server lag times, which Im sure many of you will have experienced in other games. Weve attempted to minimise these problems and ensure that when you attack somebody you feel that you have really hit someone as well as minimise artefacts such as incorrect damage results.
