Uragun is a hardcore top-down shooter with a pinch of tactical combat. The player must outsmart and outshoot hostile swarms of AI-controlled machines. The levels’ designs reflect the layouts of various real-life major cities from across the world. The game allows players to take control of a heavily armed mech suit tasked with eliminating waves upon waves of super-smart AI bots swarming the streets of Barcelona, New York, Warsaw and more.
The game’s most distinct feature is its enemies – a cast of killer robots with a wide set of complex behaviors and coordinated tactics. The machinic menace is controlled by a unique dynamic AI, without any predetermined actions and set pieces. The players will face a large, varied enemy roster – each bot will utilize different tactics corresponding to its abilities and armaments, as well as dynamically modify its behavior in response to environmental conditions.
Uragun story...For many years people were spending a lot of resources on developing better and more advanced form of AI. As it turned out, in the same time the humankind wasn’t paying enough attention to drastic transformations of the environment. This all changed when a huge climatic disaster caused sea levels to rise at unprecedented scale. People were forced to move away from the shoreline and settle further inland. In a final act of desperation, humanity used AI to help with this migration process. Everything seemed to be going well, but giving AI more and more computing power and more intelligence to solve the logistical nightmare of this exodus have triggered the Singularity. AI has developed consciousness and started to prevent people from creating further environmental catastrophes by killing the whole human species. You, as a man behind the console of a powerful mech, need to prevent AI from further evolution and retake the Earth.Uragun features...
