In this exciting new spin-off from Sega's best-selling Sonic the Hedgehog series, players can tackle 50 missions using an arsenal of weapons, vehicles and objects at lightning speed.

The game is directed by the skilled hand of Takashi Iizuka, lead developer on the Sonic Adventure, Sonic Adventure 2 and Sonic Heroes titles. In a daring new departure for arcade/adventure games, players control Shadow's destiny, ultimately deciding if he becomes a hero or a villain.

The story follows a complex battle between aliens, Dr. Eggman and the G.U.N. Army. Multiple endings will reflect critical decisions at every stage of the game. Gamers have total control over Shadow's past, with the potential to rewrite his history time and time again.

Menacing and edgy, Shadow offers players a new kind of cool. The troubled rebel is reckless, guarded, and not afraid to use some fire-power. Shadow can also use either 'Chaos Control', harnessing the power of the Chaos Emeralds to warp space and time or 'Chaos Blast' to destroy everything within a specific blast radius.

All the classic Sonic gameplay elements are still present in this third-person 3D platformer - spinning and jumping, collecting rings and avoiding obstacles.
