the family lives in a small village where they are regarded as royalty.
Part of the family's responsibilities was to protect an item known as the Oval Key, but the Key was
stolen several decades ago.
One day, Serafina receives a letter from a woman who left the village claiming that she has found
the Oval Key, and issues Serafina a challenge.
"I will tell you where the Key is only if you agree to my terms. Whichever of us can get the Key
first will become the heir. If you refuse, then the Key will be lost forever."
Serafina shows the letter to the village elders who insist that she accept the challenge.
The opportunity to recover the Oval Key is too great to pass up.
Thus, she finds herself in the city of Mirad, where a giant auction is to take place with the
