Rhyolite

Rhyolite is a 1-4 player co-op action roguelike set on a steampunk locomotive being attacked by ghost trains. Defend, repair, and upgrade your train as you explore the railway.

We've blended ship vs. ship combat, challenging call-out chaos, and crew-based team dynamics together and poured it all into a cowboy boot-shaped mug!

ASSEMBLE YOUR CREW

It takes a lot to keep a steam engine running. Choose your role — Engineer, Brakeman, Mechanic, Scientist, or Benefactor — and use your special skills to help your team stay on track.

SURVIVE CHAOTIC COMBAT

Think on your feet and adapt your strategy as the ghost train interferes by locking doors, swapping players, and generally creating mischief. Oh, and watch out for the giant wormhole!

KEEP THE ENGINE RUNNING

Your engine has seen better days, and these attacks from ghost mortars aren't helping. Repair broken systems, divert steam pressure, and prevent reactor meltdowns to keep your train chugging along — and do it fast, because these malfunctions escalate quickly. (We recommend welding that hole in the roof before the whole thing collapses.)

ADD BELLS AND WHISTLES

Choose upgrades along your route, discover new specialty train cars, and reconfigure your train back at the rail yard in between runs.

BANISH THE GHOSTS

Each run lets you explore more of the railway map, uncovering secrets as you go. How did these ghost trains come to be, and how can they be stopped? Only the most capable crews will find out.
