Boomtown chats with Eiji Aonuma, one of the main minds behind the three latest Zelda games, about the world of Zelda and his current projects:

    During our conversation at E3, Aonuma-san told us that he generally is pleased with the Legend of Zelda: The Windwaker, but he thought that the series had lost some of its originality during the transition form 2D to 3D. Asked if this would result in the next Zelda game being in 2D he laughed and said that:

    - Shape and content of the coming Zelda is still floating in the air, but that doesn't necessarily mean that it will be in 2D.
