The annual Steam Awards are over and after the voting (that lasted from 21 December at 10 AM PT until 2 January at 10 AM PT) concluded, the winners have been revealed. Some are very expected, some less so…but either way, the audience has spoken.

Game of the Year honors have been claimed by Baldur’s Gate 3, solidifying its status as one of the finest CRPGs ever created. It faced tough competition from the likes of Resident Evil 4 Remake, Lethal Company, and Hogwarts Legacy. Other than the GotY award, the game also snatched the Outstanding Story-Rich Game Award.

Meanwhile, Hogwarts Legacy emerged triumphant in the Best Game on Steam Deck category, showcasing seamless performance on the handheld device when the right settings are employed. Competing against strong contenders like Diablo 4, Dredge, and Brotato was no easy feat, but Hogwarts Legacy stood out nonetheless which is an achievement worth celebrating.

Additionally, Starfield secured a win in the Most Innovative Gameplay Award segment. Bravo!
