Yet another moment from The Game Awards that got me really excited is the announcement of a new game in the Mana series. What’s even more exciting? It’s set to launch next year!
The new entry in the series is titled Visions of Mana, and based on the information we have right now, it looks very very promising. The footage shows off some dynamic action RPG combat, a whole range of different spells (including some familiar ones), and a world full of magic. For die-hard Secret of Mana like myself, this really is a dream come true.
Of course, there’s always a possibility that they end up messing up the whole thing but I am hopeful. The trailer was good enough to make me want to replay Secrets of Mana on the SNES and that is something. Fingers crossed!
Visions of Mana is coming out in 2024.
