Yet another The Game Awards event is finished and we have the Game of the Year. Baldur’s Gate 3 won the top prize in a heavy competition against names like The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, Super Mario Wonder, Resident Evil 4, and Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. Congratulations!
Baldur’s Gate 3 took home six prizes in total while Alan Wake 2 and The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom won three prizes and one prize respectively. Just one prize for such an amazing game is quite surprising, I have to say, but it’s been a tough year for game development as a whole and each trophy carries significant weight, so regardless of how many prizes a particular in the end all studios should feel proud of their work showing up in an event like this.
