Jasper Byrne announced (via Superflat’s blog) that he is working on a sequel to 2012’s indie gem Lone Survivor called Lone Warrior.

Lone Warrior will follow a brand new protagonist. As Byrne states, the follow-up will be slightly different in terms of gameplay, with “less of a focus on stealth and survival and more of a focus on action/panic scenarios”, and apparently, it will most likely be a “shorter but (hopefully) more intense game.”

Byrne also says that he’s been working on Lone Warrior before the launch of an updated re-release of the original game, Super Lone Warrior. As he says, it makes more sense to re-release the first game before revealing the second one and I agree with that.

At the moment, there are no release plans for Lone Warrior, but we will let you know if something changes.
