Alan Wake 2 is finally here. It’s been quite a ride but the game is now up for grabs for everyone who wants it. That being said, the game is currently not in a perfect state. It had a couple of launch hiccups like an annoying audio issue that affects some Xbox players.

Basically, as soon as the game launched (just days ago at this point), many Xbox players reported that the game’s audio was cutting out for no apparent reason. Thankfully, folks from Remedy Entertainment are aware of this problem and they stated that they are working to resolve it.

The studio released new patch notes regarding the new update, bringing general bug fixes to the PS5, Xbox, and PC versions of the game, and on both consoles, they added some localization fixes. Moreover, the Xbox version got a number of tweaks for different visual problems and an issue that had players stuck in interactions.

Remedy will also give the game a “significantly friendlier” error message when third-party software prevents it from starting.

Alan Wake 2 is now available on PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
