The recent Sony State of Play revealed that new content will be coming to Resident Evil 4 remake, and indeed, the Separate Ways DLC with Ada Wong in the lead role is now live.

It was almost inevitable that Separate Ways would find its way back to Resident Evil 4 in one form or another. Its absence from the initial release of the remake didn't go unnoticed by fans, so it's satisfying to witness its inclusion at this point. For those eager to take on the role of Ada in the current console generation, your opportunity has (finally) arrived.

On top of that, Capcom dropped a hint about an upcoming free update for The Mercenaries mode scheduled to launch on the 21st. Although they didn't provide specific details, a glimpse at the splash screen featured Ada and Wesker, strongly suggesting that the update will introduce both characters to the roster.

This announcement coincided with another glimpse of the forthcoming VR update for Resident Evil 4, which appears to deliver exactly what you'd anticipate in terms of visuals and audio. Therefore, if you happen to own a PlayStation VR headset, you'll have several compelling reasons to revisit the realm of survival horror in the upcoming days.
