August is setting up to be a great month for all Gran Turismo fans as the Gran Turismo movie is hitting theatres on August 25. To mark that occasion, we’ve just got new content in Gran Turismo 7 and it is movie-themed. Update 1.36 adds a new livery that allows you to recreate the Nissan GT-R Nismo GT3 ’18 as seen in the movie.
Polyphony Digital is running a gift campaign from August 7 through September 28 as well and you’ll be able to claim the Nissan GT-R Nismo GT3 ’18, exactly as depicted in the movie.
To claim your fifty Nissan from the movie, all you have to do is head over to GT 7 and select the special panel on the upper right side of the World Map screen. On top of new movie-related content, new cars are now also available:
Chevrolet Corvette (C1) ’58
Maserati MC20 ’20
Toyota GR Corolla MORIZO Edition ’22
Toyota Ambulance Himedic ’21 (Purchasable at Brand Central from late September)
Fukuoka Eastern Fire Station has been added to the Scapes, and the following Extras Menus have been chucked into the GT Cafe:

Extra Menu No. 27: ‘Aston Martin’ (Collector Level 44 and above)

The Gran Turismo movie, directed by Neill Blomkamp, tells a true story based on the life of Jann Mardenborough and his rise in motorsport. It’ll be hitting the theaters on August 25.
