The Xbox Games Showcase was quite eventful and it showed off lots of well-established names, follow-ups, and even some brand-new titles too. One such example is a new game coming from the creators of Wasteland – Clockwork Revolution.

We don’t have a lot of information about the game, but a blog post by InXile Studio does reveal details that provide some context. As the title suggests, Clockwork Revolution will have a huge focus on time travel. The studio head, Brian Fargo promises “dynamic time-bending combat” and a plot that focuses on the gimmick. As it appears, we’ll be traveling to the past and making choices that will affect the future in a major way.

The post adds that the team is “pushing roleplaying reactivity to new heights” with this game, but of course, we are yet to see how much will player choice affect the final product.

Clockwork Revolution will launch on Xbox Series X|S and PC at some point in the future.
