Capcom and Sony Pictures have announced that their CGI spin-off Resident Evil: Death Island will arrive in both physical and digital formats on July 25.
The animated series is set in Capcom’s iconic horror universe and it sees Chris Redfield, Jill Valentine, Leon Kennedy, Claire Redfield, and Rebecca Chambers teaming up for the first time ever to handle a mutant outbreak on Alcatraz Island. If you’re a devoted fan of the Resident Evil Franchise, you’ll surely be happy to see Kennedy and Valentine crossing paths for the very first time in Resi canon.
This isn’t the only Resident Evil news that we will get this month as Capcom recently announced a Capcom Showcase stream for the upcoming Monday, June 12. We’ll almost certainly get new information and updates for games like Resident Evil 4 (including the highly-anticipated “Separate Ways” DLC) and Resident Evil Village.
Resident Evil: Death Island will launch on n 4K UHD, Blu-ray, DVD, and digitally on July 25.
