Konachi Studio just gave us a teaser of their new run-and-gun title Black Finger Jet coming from the former prominent Nazca developers. The development team is well-known for their work behind Metal Slug and a number of attached names were directly involved in the development of some of the early titles in the series.
We didn’t see any gameplay in the trailer because we’re still in early development but we do have a page for the game on Steam. At the moment, it just shows concept art and it says that the game can change at any point. That being said, based on the information available right now, Black Finger Jet will be heavily inspired by the concepts used in the Metal Slug series.
It will include 8-directional aiming, and the eponymous Jet vehicle transforms into various configurations.
Speaking of the team involved, Akio is in charge of the art, sound design is done by Hiya, while Meeher is the producer. Will we get yet another epic Metal Slug-like game? One can hope!
Black Finger Jet is currently announced for PC only but we could be getting a confirmation that the game will launch on consoles as well (along with the release date).
