Koei Tecmo have announced that they are partnering with a Japanese developer Akatsuki Games to produce a brand new, unannounced game for Gen 9 platforms. As Gematsu reported, the collaboration was announced in Akatsuki’s recently published financial report.
We have no details about the new title but we know it is in production for “next-gen” platforms. The two companies are aiming to release the game before the end of the financial year, which means we can expect the game to launch before March 2024.
Koei Tecmo is well known for many different iconic gaming franchises including Dead or Alive, Dynasty Warriors, and Ninja Gaiden. Akatsuki Games have licensed and produced games in a variety of different genres but they are currently focused on mobile releases like Romancing Saga Re: Universe, Dragon Ball Z: Dokken Battle, and Uni’s on Air.
