Former homebrew NES game Battle Kid: Fortress of Peril is now making its way to Nintendo Switch, following the release on Xbox in April 2022 and the NES in 2010. The launch is scheduled for May 19, 2023.
Battle Kid: Fortress of Peril is one of the most loved homebrew titles on the NES. It is developed by Sivak Games and it draws heavy inspiration from I Wanna Be The Guy and Mega Man.
It is great to see that Battle Kid: Fortress of Peril isn’t staying locked on a single platform and I personally feel that the game’s full potential will be seen on Nintendo Switch.
Battle Kid: Fortress of Peril is coming to Nintendo Switch on May 19, 2023.
