Nintendo have announced that the highly anticipated Metroid Prime Remaster is now live on Nintendo Switch. Launching in a bit of a stealth mode, it sure felt epic to see a remaster of one of the best Metroid games to date arriving to one of my favorite consoles.
As expected, the remaster comes with significantly upgraded visuals and it allows players to use both the standard dual-stick controls and the original lock-on setup.
At this point, we don’t know If the other two games in the trilogy will get the same treatment or not, but in the meantime, Metroid Prime Remastered is now live on the Nintendo Eshop for $39.99. The physical version will launch on February 22nd. You can check out the trailer below:
