Crash Team Rumble will bring multiplayer mayhem to our screens in 2023
Yet another The Game Awards highlight for me.

At the recently finished The Game Awards 2022, Activision announced a brand new title set in the loony world of Crash Bandicoot, but this time we’re not getting a 3D platformer. Hell no! Instead, we’ll be seeing Smash Bros-like multiplayer madness similar to Splatoon 3.
Crash Team Rumble will see Crash, Coco, Tawna, Dr. Neo Cortex and other beloved heroes (and villains) from the Crash Bandicoot universe fighting each other in 4-v-4 team-based action. We’ll get to race to gather Wumpa Fruit for our squad while defending the stock from the rival team and getting into frenzied melee scraps out on the battlefield. As expected, each character will have their own special skills and abilities, so we’ll have to rely on character synergy and teamwork to secure victory.
“We’re so excited to unveil our fresh new take on multiplayer in the Crash universe with Crash Team Rumble,” said Toys for Bob’s Paul Yan in a press release. “ Crash Team Rumble has something for everyone— easy pick-up and play for those who just want to jump in, while also providing skilled gamers the opportunity to leverage and master their hero’s unique abilities.”
Crash Team Rumble is coming to PlayStation and Xbox in 2023.
